(This post has many elements. That's just how it goes.)
So...when I started this, my goal was to give away three things a week for the rest of the year. But once I start going through things, I can't get rid of just three things at a time. I'm sure I'll be finished getting rid of things by the end of next month. (Or not. If I haven't mentioned it (ahem), I have a lot of things.)
Why, oh, why do I have Water Dog: Revolutionary Rapid Training?
Not pictured: three John Lennon-memorial-type magazines. A People and Time from 1980 and a Rolling Stone from 1981. I have had these magazines for twenty years and my grammie had them for a decade and a half before that. I think the first time I opened any of them was tonight. I gave them to my dad.
Random story: I woke up this morning to my cat trying to jump up onto my bed. Unfortunately what he sank his little claws into wasn't just the bed but was also the skin just beneath my left eye. Oi. Lots of ice and triple antibiotic ointment were applied. I tried not to look at anyone too closely at work today as it looked bad (even worse thanks to my incredibly high glasses prescription).
Can't let go: Two Bossy Dames. I have no idea how I even heard about this in the first place. Honestly, I'm still not entirely sure what it is.
Making me happy: Enough Said: What's Gone Wrong with the Language of Politics? by Mark Thompson - ok, so I'm barely starting this book, but it's in my nerd zone
And: Autumn! Oh, how I love it.
