I like to notice those weird coincidences. Like the whole Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon - learn something and start seeing it everywhere.
So I'm working and listening to this week's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! and the first caller is Leah Koch. And I just saw her in April's issue of O. She and her sister, Bea, run The Ripped Bodice, the only romance-only bookstore in the US.
Related: I'm often tempted by magazines and am disappointed that I don't have/take the time to read them. I haven't subscribed to any in quite some time because I tend to never read the magazines I get. I do, though, sometimes like to read them while I'm on vacation, so I picked up a couple last weekend, and I think that works for me. Otherwise, I might browse them while I'm working at the library. Otherwise I end up stacks of unread material (to go with the billion books I have that I'll never get to).
