As far as I can tell, NaBloPoMo might have vamoosed after last year. I cannot find an internet home for it (I had forgotten BlogHer had taken it over, although I knew that Mrs. Kennedy was no longer running it) and I cannot find a reason it's gone, gone, gone.
But I see that people are still participating.
We've reached rain and some very light snow here. And I've reached a desire to stay inside, in my pajamas, with a mug of tea, a good book, and a fire crackling in the hearth. Oh, wait, I have no fireplace! I suppose I'll continue with my workaday life, then. Alas and alack.
One day, though, fireplace, tea, books, podcasts, teevee. Those are my plans. And puzzles (jigsaw and word). And walking, walking, walking. (C jokes that we probably walked about 40 miles last week. Not quite that many, dear. Maybe next time.)
We are hip cats around these parts - always on the go.
Seriously, though, we like our quiet life. Even the child is still on board with it at this point (not sure how much longer that'll be the case).
All right. Speaking of my steady life, I must get back to work.
