Quite some time ago (okay, a year? a little more?), C shared a TED Talk with me. He wanted to me to hear a song on it to help lift my spirits when I needed it.
I was looking for the talk again recently, but I couldn't remember enough about the song or the speaker or the rest of the video even to look for it. The night it was on my mind, before I emailed C to ask him about it, I watched a John Green talk: "The Nerd's Guide to Learning Everything Online."
And there was Ze Frank. The guy who gave the talk I was looking for.
Ah, universal web of stuff, how connected you are. (I know when anyone stops to think about this, the coincidence isn't that strange. We're talking about two guys who use video to share information online. Two guys who'd given TED Talks. But I don't care. I like to notice these coincidences.)
The Ze Frank talk? "My Web Playroom."
The song I was looking for is featured toward the very end. It's part of Ze's "Songs You Already Know" project (or was requested because of that project, actually). That segment of this video starts at the 12:10 mark. At 13:40, he starts the set-up for the song I wanted.
Here's the song:
P.S. There's another song from that Ze Frank TED Talk we tend to sing (or hum) often.
